Tuxera Ntfs Could Not Mount Dev Disk1s1 At Volumes

Posted on by

Hi.

  1. Tuxera NTFS could not mount /dev/disk1s1 at /Volumes/Itunes because the following problem occurred: tuxerantfs: Failed to access volume '/dev/rdisk1s1': No such file or directory tuxerantfs 2013.2 external FUSE 27 - High Performance NTFS Driver built on Oct 14 2013 12:15:15 with USECBCIO USEALIGNEDIO USELOCK Any idea people????
  2. I have purchased Tuxera NTFS (version 2011.4.1) and my Toshiba external HD cannot be mounted in Lion. In Snow Leopard i have used NTFS-3G and it worked fine. After installing Lion, it didn't work anymore, so i have purchased Tuxera-NTFS and it worked for some days, but now i'm getting the message that it can not be mounted.

Tuxera Ntfs Could Not Mount Dev Disk1s1 At Volumes 4

Mar 04, 2014 Take the software that you originally installed that came on the HD called 'Tuxera NTFS for mac' and throw that on a thumb drive. NTFS-3G could not mount /dev. The Disk Utility can read my formatted driveS but it won't let me mount them. I am using MacBook Air with Nvidia GeForce 320M running Mac OS X Lion 10.7. How can I fix this? NTFS-3G NTFS-3G could not mount /dev/disk1s1 at /Volumes/LaCie because the following problem occurred: Did not receive a signal within 15.000000 seconds.

I have an external harddrive which has worked before but a half year ago it doesn't work. When I connect it to a PC I can see there are 170 GB space taken and 300 GB free, but I can't see any files. And when I connect it to my Mac Pro Mountain Lion osx I get this message:

Tuxera NTFS

NTFS is either inconsistent, or there is a hardware fault, or it's a

SoftRAID/FakeRAID hardware. In the first case run chkdsk /f on Windows

then reboot into Windows twice. The usage of the /f parameter is very

important! If the device is a SoftRAID/FakeRAID then first activate

it and mount a different device under the /dev/mapper/ directory, (e.g.

/dev/mapper/nvidia_eahaabcc1). Please see the 'dmraid' documentation

I'm in a huge panic right now because my external HD won't mount! It's a 2TB WD Elements that's about 4'ish years old. It was working fine this morning but just now when I tried mounting it, it was seriously lagging and I thought it was a problem with my laptop so I restarted my system. After rebooting my MBP, my external drive just wouldn't mount at all and I got this error message:

I tried mounting it on Windows but I can't access it AT ALL, I see it as a HD but there's no indication of its size etc and I even got the message error saying it needs reformatting (!!!) suggesting it's practically a blank! I don't know what to do and am near tears now.
